Installation Instructions from Nic Giles:

Hey fellow racers here is a new version with Crew Chief Files Added for pre-race info and pace lap info ect. Where to line up, laps of fuel, going green, ect....

=========================================
The "Nic Giles Spotter Pack" for iRacing
Recorded and Assembled by <Nic Giles and Giles Brother's Racing> Email:NicGiles@dreamwayteam.com
04/22/2009 [Ver. 4.00]
==========================================

The files included in this zip are live race sound clips from Dover International Speedway and I will now be your spotter for a better Sim experience.
They will substitute for 100% of the played spotter and Crew Chief files that are present in the sim.

Installation
============

1) Download the new spotter files.
2) Open C:\Program Files\iRacing\Sound\SPCC
3) Create a new directory, named after the spotter pack you have downloaded. (Stick to letters and numbers.)
4) Unpack the spotter files into the new directory. The directory should now contain several .wav files.
If the .wav files are in a subdirectory, move them into the directory you just created.
5) Edit My Documents\iRacing.com\app.ini and add a new line to the [SPCC] section,
voicePack=dirname, where ‘dirname’ is the name of the directory you created.
(For example, ‘voicePack=YerDaChamp’, not ‘voicePack=C:\Program Files\iRacing.Com\sound\spcc\YerDaChamp’) Then Save!!Crutial

If my spotter sounds do not play, check the following:

Does the directory name in app.ini match the directory name on disk? Spaces matter.

Are the spotter’s .wav files in spcc\dirname, or are they in a subdirectory? .Waves must be in the spcc\dirname directory.

You can have multiple spotter packs saved on disk, but only one active at a time. If you want to mix-and-match, copy the .wav files from each spotter

Uninstallation
==============
If you wish to stop using the "Nic Giles spotter pak," please delete or move
the .wav files and edit app.ini and thats it....
